Bixorama 2.0 features a GENERATE dropdown menu with lots of options to generate cubemaps including: VORONOI, BLOBS, FRACTAL PLANET and DOTS OF LIGHT.
Choose SETTINGS > SET SETTINGS... for the extensive settings dialog.
This screenshot has been generated with the GENERATE > VORONOI option with the SMOOTH checkbox unmarked in the settings dialog. It generates interesting pictures that are however less useful for reflection mapping. I'll give more practical examples in the comments.
