Decentralized, liuyongcai, Franco Aversa and 10 others like this!

Here's a remastered version of the Mardou museum. A nice wooden floor, a shiny railing, a darker ceiling and everything packed in a single GLB file!

Apart from our alien mascot Bix and the single painting, the museum is empty. So there's enough space to turn it into your own virtual art gallery.

Architectural design and painting by Mardou.

3D modelling by Laurens.

Have fun curating your exhibition!

Here's how the model looks rendered in BluffTitler, using techniques that are difficult to tune or not available in Sketchfab:
-light direction (DIRECTION prop light layer)
-shadows (SHADOW props light layer)
-fog (FOG props camera layer)
-glow (GLOW props camera layer)
-clouds (skybox layer)

The only effect that Sketchfab offers and BluffTitler not is the SSAO (screen space ambient occlusion) post-processing filter. It works surprisingly well on this model. Instead of doing it in realtime with an SSAO filter, it can also be pre-processed as baked ambient occlusion maps inside the GLB file. An app like Blender can be used to generate the textures and BluffTitler will happily render it. But a realtime ambient occlusion post-processing filter would be nice to have!

And here's how it looks in Blender. Notice how the BT layers are reflected in the GLB node names in the top right.
