Here are the release notes for version 16.7.6, launched last Thursday.

We had some false positive issues, but you should now be able to download the latest version in all major browsers.

MIDI

The LAYER > VJ... dialog now has a MIDI mode. Control your layer properties by playing your MIDI instrument!

This works great in realtime when playing the show in a loop. Export as video is problematic because BluffTitler does not yet feature a microphone layer. For now, this can be worked around by using a screen recording app.

This is a super fun feature. We'll try to post demo videos soon!

Server side generated shows

A few subtle changes have been made to the internet caching system to make things like web controlled 3D scoreboards possible.

The new Model/Trumpet effect can animate 2 specific trumpet models:

The new Voxel/VoxelSlices turns a flat 2D picture into a 3D voxel model.

Symmetrical oscillator values

The OSCILLATOR mode of the VJ dialog now has SYMMETRICAL checkbox.

Audio volumes can't be negative, but there's no reason why oscillator values can't. And now they can: when this checkbox is marked, the generated values are symmetrical around the neutral value of 0.

Licenses

The LICENSES tab of the <Ctrl><F1> dialog now displays the licenses and download URLs of the 3D models used (if available).

This makes it easier to print the download URLs in the descriptions of your videos. This is very handy when your video uses a lot of models:

Note that crediting the model designers is a requirement for the widely used Creative Commons licenses:
